Registration and Class Policies

Registration for classes at Cela Creations-A Bead Boutique can be made in person or by telephone at 708.215.5177.

Class registration will be a confirmed reservation with payment of cash, check or credit card at the time of registration. Classes begin promptly on their designated time.

If materials or tools are needed to be purchased before class, it is best to arrive at least ½ hour before class is scheduled to finish your purchases.

(This policy is so we do not delay the start of each class).

Cancellations will only be accepted for an exchange of classes - 48 hours prior to class. Less than 48 hours before class your reservation will be forfeited. If Cela Creations needs to cancel a class less than 48 hours before class a full refund will be credited to your credit card.Class space is limited to 6 students.

SHARING TOOLS CAN CAUSE DELAYS AND INTERRUPTIONS. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO THIS.

Children's Birthday Parties

AGE 10 and up for Birthday parties. Parties are available for Saturday bookings. Cela Creations can only accommodate 1 Birthday party per Saturday. So please book early if you have a special date in mind. A 50% deposit will be taken for a party reservation. The maximum reservation is for 6 to 8 girls and the Birthday girl’s mother must be present for the entire party. Parties are scheduled for one and a half hours. Cupcakes can be provided and served by mom and gifts can be opened at the party.Price per child is $15.00 and includes all materials. Please call the boutique for further information on bead option packages.

Ladies Night Out

Reservations taken 1 week in advance. You may have 6 friends in our Boutique creating your own designs.

Option #1

2 hour window of time for your party to create your own beautiful designs. Purchase your materials at Cela Creations with a 10% storewide discount for any materials, tools, accessories you may want to purchase for that evening event.

A $20.00 reservation fee is needed ahead of time and will be refunded or applied as a credit towards any purchases you may have.

Option #2--$15.00 per person-Room Fee.

Each person brings their own materials and tools.

This is primarily for the group of friends that are already have the "beading bug" and want to get together for an evening of bead bonding! Maybe even a bead swap or two!

Feel free for either Option 1 or 2 to bring your favorite bottle of Wine. Self service is the required. Evenings, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons are available times for these events.

Beading 101

$30.00 per class

Instructor: Designer/Angela Casasccio

You will be able to design and finish a necklace or bracelet with the basics of this class. There will be time enough to perfect your finishing skills (i.e.) attach a clasp and crimping in two styles. Learn the basics of why you use different threading materials and wires. Take home a stunning and unique piece created by YOU!

A 10% discount on materials for this class. Please come 1/2 hour prior to class to purchase your materials. We will start promptly at the designated time.

1. Crimp Beads
2. Crimp Plier
3. Cutter
4. Beading wire
5. Beads of your choice

Basic Wire Wrapping

$40.00 per class

Instructor- Designer/Angela Casaccio

You will be taking home 3 pairs of earrings after attending this class. In this class you will learn basic wire wrapping using head pins, eye pins and ear wires. A simple loop (rosary) and wire wrap loop will be taught. These skills will take your jewelry designing to a new level. This class is fun and easy!

Materials included with this class are:

• Sterling Silver head pins
• 3 pairs of ear wires
• Beads and Findings to create 3 beautiful pairs of earrings

Tools each student will need to bring to class:

1. Round nose pliers
2. Wire Cutter

Knotting 101

$40.00 a session - class includes materials

Materials Included:

1. Griffin silk thread
2. Swarovski Crystal Pearls-White
3. Toggle Clasp
4. Pendant not included.

Instructors: Francesca Casaccio and Designer/Angela Casaccio

Learn Pearl knotting on silk tread and design your own "Tin Cup" necklace. Other possibilities are to add a pendant to your Tin Cup necklace. (Pendant not included)

10% discount on materials the day of class.

2. Flat nose pliers*
3. Wire cutters*

Wire Crochet Cuff

$45.00 per class-including materials

Materials included are:

• 1 - .65 Gram bag of Czech Glass Bead Soup. Color of your choice
• 1 - Spool of 26 gauge Artistic Wire
• 1 - Small finishing clasp

Instructor: Designer/Angela Casaccio

A cuff style be-jeweled bracelet. You will learn to wire crochet a gemstone cuff bracelet and attach a clasp to this beauty. Take this one step further and later crochet one long enough for a necklace. A lot of glam for a little cost!

Tools needed for each student to bring for this class:

1- Size 2 or 5 Crochet Hook- Preferably a Susan Bates brand. It has a better hook on it. Cela Creations does not sell crochet hooks. Please purchase this tool before attending this class.

You must know how to crochet to attend this class.
Intermediate Level Class

Family Pendant Tree

This is an Intermediate Class Level wire wrapping skills needed.

$30.00 per Class-including metals only

Learn to make this unique pendant and beautiful technique that will have you designing all your friends and families Tree. A gift they will never forget! This could be a bit of history on your neck from crystal birthstone colors to just your favorite color tree!

Classes are scheduled for July so all the beginner wire wrap students can get their practice time before attending this class.
